empowering chemistry textbook

This chemistry textbook is superior because it explains not only chemistry concepts but detailed steps of the math you need to know. The examples and problems are not only designed to teach the math but to educate you about chemistry by experience, i.e., the different elements and compounds and their properties. This chemistry book was written to perform a service, with the student in the forefront of the writer's mind.

Great presentation, wish there were more examples worked out

This textbook is very clear in presenting topics, breaking down chapters into sections, and focusing on core concepts. The figures in the book are high quality, and 3D graphics are helpful in illustrating complex shapes.
My only desire would be for more solved problems in the chapters.

Nice content and charts! Chapter questions worded confusing!

This book contains excellent charts and content, no space is wasted in this book when it comes to the lessons. The tables and charts have information presented in a comprehensive way which can be transformed into smooth studying. One thing I did not like about this book was the chapter questions, a lot were worded in a confusing way. They used words that they didn't use in the chapter, I found myself going to the teacher many times to have the questions reworded. I would recommend this book only if based on information because the questions aren't very good for reviewing the content.
