The race is not for the swift but for those who endure to the end

The "Amazing Race to Entrepreneurial Freedom" is essential reading for those thinking of or actually starting a business. Prior to reading this book, the first book I recommended to friends thinking of going into business was Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich" and second was Robert Kiyosaki's "Rich Dad Poor Dad". Georgina Terry's book has pushed Robert Kiyosaki's book into third place.
The "Amazing Race to Entrepreneurial Freedom" develops the importance of first having a vision for the kind of life you want to live and THEN formulating a complementary business vision. Aside from the mental preparation that this book guides you through it has some indispensable advice on the mechanics of starting and managing a business. The book is well-organised, thorough, easy to read, gets straight to the point and has some great quotes. My favourite quote from the book is one by Michelangelo - "I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free".
I will definitely refer to this book from time to time to ensure that I am on course.

Excellent for entrepreneurs !!

This is defiantly a must read for anyone who needs drive and guidance towards achieving their dreams or starting /running a business. The amazing race to entrepreneurial freedom encourages people to come out for their comfort zones and run towards what really motivates them. The ultimate message is to turn your passion into profit. Terry covers all essential business areas, from business plans to advertising. I feel the best thing about this book is the way the messages register in your memory, it's not a dense, business text book type of read, it's engaging and almost feels like the business advisor is speaking to you directly. Terry encourages people to challenge themselves, gives fundamental business lessons and philosophical advice to sky rocket self development as well as entrepreneurial success! I recommended this book to my cousin and best friend, and they both loved it as well!
